Last month of October, Picart took an important step in its commitment to safety at work by carrying out an exhaustive fire prevention training course aimed at training its employees in the prevention and handling of emergency situations. This training activity, which was attended by 10 workers from different departments, was given by the specialised company Vitaly, and took place over six hours at Picart’s facilities.
The training had a comprehensive approach, divided into two key parts: a theoretical session, which included a final exam to measure the level of knowledge acquired, and a practical session, where participants were able to learn first-hand how to use fundamental tools for extinguishing fires. Among the equipment used during the practice were two types of fire extinguishers and a water hose, the correct use of which was explained and supervised by Vinality instructors. This practical training is essential for employees to be able to act quickly and effectively in the event of a real incident.
A further step towards a culture of security
Picart’s management has highlighted the importance of this type of training as part of the ongoing plan to ensure that all employees are prepared for any eventuality. The main objective is that all staff are trained to act correctly and safely in emergency situations. Fire prevention training is just one of the measures implemented to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
The participants of this first training were very satisfied with the experience, highlighting the usefulness of the practices and the clarity of the explanations provided. According to the organising team, the session went smoothly and the employees showed great interest and commitment throughout the six-hour activity. This positive response reinforces Picart’s commitment to continue to run similar training sessions throughout the year, with the aim of enabling the entire workforce to benefit from this crucial knowledge.
Training as a key to a safe working environment
In a modern working environment, safety is an aspect that cannot be underestimated. Accident prevention is a shared responsibility that involves the entire company, from managers to operators. Initiatives such as Picart’s fire training are essential to build a culture of prevention and care, where every member of the team understands the potential risks and knows how to respond to them.
Picart, renowned for its commitment to quality in both its products and internal management, once again demonstrates that the safety of its employees is a priority. Through this training and those planned for the future, the company continues to consolidate its strategy of prevention and protection, ensuring that each of its employees is prepared for any eventuality.
