Last weekend, 19th and 20th October, Picart had the honour of participating in the National German Shepherd Breeding Championship in Talavera de la Reina -Madrid, consolidating once again our close collaboration with SECPA (Spanish Society of German Shepherd Breeders). This event marks the third success in a series of collaborations we have carried out throughout the year in different cities such as Barcelona and Seville, and we are delighted to have had such a warm welcome in Madrid.
A dog welfare event
At Picart, we are proud not only to produce high quality food for furry dogs, but also to be present at such significant events for the welfare and responsible breeding of dogs. Participating in the National German Shepherd Breeding Championship is part of our commitment to good dog nutrition and welfare, especially for such a magnificent and beloved breed as the German Shepherd.
A total of 84 prizes were awarded at the event, consisting of 12 kg bags of Picart Select and 18 kg Select Professional, including two special prizes to recognise the best bite in the male and female categories. The event was attended by 1,500 people and 163 dogs were registered, making it a success in terms of participation and enthusiasm among dog lovers and breeders.
