VETERINARY DIETS - ADVANCED NUTRITION

Select Veterinary Diets Joint & Mobility

Select Veterinary Diets Joint & Mobility is a product specially devised to help dogs that suffer from articulation issues, and also to prevent possible joint problems for high-activity dogs.

  • With extract of Green-Lipped Mussel, Glucosamine & Chondroitin to help to reduce joint pain.
  • Organic Zinc and Vitamin E extra to help reduce inflammation and articular rigidity.
  • Omega-3 DHA extracted from Krill to support healthy joints and aid the reduction of cartilage degradation.
  • MSM to help to cartilage health.

JOINT MOBILITY

Glucosamine and Chondroitin help to control and reduce joint pain. Furthermore, they favour the regeneration of cartilaginous tissue.

GREEN-LIPPED MUSSEL

Select Veterinary Diets Joint & Mobility contains Green-Lipped Mussel that helps to reduce articular pain and swelling.

BONE PROTECTION

Dogs suffering from osteoarthritis fed with a diet rich in fatty acids like Omega-3 improve their symptomology.

MSM (METILSULFONILMETANE)

Oxidative stress is cytotoxic and many cellular lesions are caused by oxidative stress. MSM acts as an antioxidant and has a protective effect on lesions caused by this type of stress (1).

GLUCOSAMINE AND CHONDROITIN

Glucosamine and Chondroitin help to control and reduce joint pain caused by articular lesions. Furthermore, they favour the regeneration of cartilaginous tissue (2).

VITAMIN C

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that acts on an intra-cellular level. In combination with others physiological antioxidants, such as Vitamin E, Vitamin C contributes to a reduction in oxidative stress caused by physical effort (3).

KRILL AS A SOURCE OF DHA

Dogs with osteoarthritis fed with a diet rich in fatty acids like Omega-3 improve their symptomology: in just six weeks they can get up more easily and in 12-24 weeks can play and walk (4). Krill is particularly rich in PUFA-ω3 linked to phospholipids, easier to assimilate and more effective than those linked to triglycerides (5).

GREEN-LIPPED MUSSEL

Dogs whose diets are supplemented with extract of Green-Lipped Mussel show greater levels of clinical improvement: managing to reduce articular pain and swelling (6).

L-CARNITINE

L-Carnitine contributes to controlling the weight of animals with joint problems, thus reducing joint strain and contributing to any improvement of pathological symptoms.
