Pere Icart founded the company Piensos Picart S.A. in 1953 in Sant Pere de Vilamajor, his home town. Very soon Teresa Clos, his wife, joined the company and together they worked tirelessly to make their shared project grow. Thus, in the heart of Montseny Natural Park, 50km from Barcelona, Piensos Picart begins its journey manufacturing animal feed for the region’s farms.
