The 7.17-kilometre route took the participants along paths and tracks, passing through Sant Benet de Bages and returning to the starting point, El Bosquet. Subsequently, a total of <strong>257 walkers<\/strong>, along with their dogs and some participants without pets, started out on the new route, which lasted an average of an hour and a half. After the physical activity, all participants recovered their energy with a breakfast based on sausage or vegan options. The active participation of Mayor Joan Carles Batan\u00e9s in the event&#8217;s start shows the institutional and community support for this noble cause. The presence of Xavier Serrano, Sports Councillor of Sant Fruit\u00f3s de Bages Town Council, at the prize-giving ceremony underlines the importance that the local authorities attach to sport and animal welfare.<\/p>\n<p>The generosity of the <strong>collaborating companies<\/strong>, including <strong>Picart<\/strong>, has been fundamental to the continued success of the Cursa dels Llebrers de Galgos112.
